Signal problems ...

Hello,

I've a problem, I've just used my megadrum, when I connect any pad (rim aren't connected) on snare channel, if I hit only the sensor corresponding to the skin, I have rim which is triggered at the same time

Simply : on the stereo jack, there's only signal between tip and sleeve, so corresponding to "snare's hit".
the VU meter of megadrum indicate hit an rim levels cursors move at the same time
Note lognote indicate various notes while there's only two which are program on snare in drummanager

Thanks for replies

Are you using a stereo or mono cable?

Unconnected inputs are more sensible to electromagnetic interference. If you have nothing connected on the rim, disable it by setting Note to 0.

thank for replies,
in fact, i ever try detection before : with and without rim sensor, i didn't get this problem

on the log note, the notes send don't correspond with the notes which are set in snare H / snare R setup menu.

Moreover, on cymbal crash, I didn't be able to retry to get switch signal (yamaha 2/ 3zone)

Sorry, but from your last description I don't understand what the problem is.

Hi all! So much things to do these days !

Excuse me Dimitri, I was wrong about my last reply (I was confused when i saw notes of note raw and the note raw of BFD2...!)

But it's true that I should have electromagnetic interference... what can I do against? is it possible to put wire inside magnets? Is it efficacious? (I don't know if "efficacious" is the right word, google traduction :-))

My drumkit improve, pictures soon !

If you have false notes from an unconnected input than you just disable this input.
If you have a crosstalk between two inputs with pads connected to both of them then:
1. Minimize mechanical crosstalk between these pads.
2. Adjust crosstalk (XTalk) suppression settings for these two inputs.

Hi Dimitri,

I've a problem, there's a C-1 note sending when I hit ride or Hihat,
while I haven't any instrument set to C-1 note !

Please, save you settings using MDM and then post the file here - I will look at it to see where this note comes from.
